Apple has asked a federal judge in Silicon Valley to add Samsung's new flagship Galaxy smartphone to the list of devices targeted in a patent lawsuit involving Siri personal assistant software. The motion to amend the lawsuit to include the Galaxy S4 will be on the agenda of a June 25 hearing before US District Court Judge Paul Grewal in the California city of San Jose. "Apple's infringement theories regarding the S4 are identical to Apple's infringement theories against the already accused products," attorney Mark Lyon said in a motion filed Tuesday on behalf of Apple. The five patents at issue in the case include two associated with Siri voice-commanded personal assistant in iPhones. The filing maintained that the patents were infringed by voice-search capabilities in Android software used to power the Samsung smartphones. Samsung Electronics Co said sales of the latest version of its flagship Galaxy S smartphone have reached 10 million since its launch in late April, making the model its fastest selling smartphone. The S4, the South Korean firm's challenge to Apple Inc's iPhone, is already selling in 60 countries and Samsung plans to expand sales to 327 carriers in 155 countries by next month, the world's biggest smartphone maker said on Thursday. Solid sales have come even as supply issues have snarled the U.S. rollout through some carriers. Analysts expect strong sales of the fourth version of the Galaxy, which has propelled Samsung to the top of the $225 billion smartphone market since its debut in 2010, will help the firm report record earnings in the current quarter. It looks like Xolo is about to launch a new smartphone, the Q1000 which is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor. While the company has not announced the phone officially, it's already listed on e-commerce website, Flipkart . The pricing of the phone has not been revealed yet and the phone is not available for purchase at the time of writing this post but NDTV Gadgets has learned from sources that it will be priced at Rs. 14,999. According to the listing, the Xolo Q1000 features a 5-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 720x1280 pixels with a pixel density of 295ppi. The screen is made of scratch resistant Dragon Trail glass. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It has 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX544 graphics processor. Ever since Imangi Studios launched the endless running game Temple Run for iOS and Android, it made sure that we never stopped running. The game has seen 4 versions since the original release in August 2011, with the sequel, Temple Run 2 launching earlier this year in January. The game has not just been appreciated, but went on to break the record of Angry Birds Space clocking in 50 million downloads in just 13 days. Of these 4 versions, two are spin-offs released in association  with Disney. While one was Temple Run: Brave, based on the animated Disney/Pixar movie Brave, the more recently launched Temple Run: Oz is inspired form the upcoming Disney movie Oz: The Great and Powerful.
